On February 12, 2022, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against 2 Vietnamese companies, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in 7 samples of 2 batches of frozen Basa catfish from Vietnam. The national customs suspended the acceptance of 2 Vietnamese aquatic product companies Southern Fishery Industries Company Ltd. (SOUTHVINA) (Registered numbers is DL 14) and TG FISHERY HOLDINGS CORPORATION (Registered numbers is DL 478) import declaration for 1 week from February 12, 2022. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
